an image

Situated on the north-west coast of the stunning island of Majorca, Can Picafort is the perfect place for an easy-going beach break under the dazzling Spanish sunshine. Lined with a sweeping stretch of soft sandy shore, you can explore what the resort has to offer, knowing that there’s a comfortable spot of seaside waiting for you only a few steps away.

Beaches

As a coastal town, Can Picafort boasts a whole lot of beach. Stretching nearly the entire length of the resort town, Can Picafort Beach is a well-kept, sandy shore that is popular with families, couples and well, pretty much everyone! You’ll find showers and toilets there for comfort, as well as plenty of places to eat along the beachfront. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing day under the sun.

Food & Drink

Scrumptious paella, fresh seafood and tasty tapas await in Majorca, all washed down with a refreshing glass of sangria. You can find your new favourite dish at one of the Can Picafort’s brilliant restaurants - from traditional Spanish venues, to Italian pizzerias, and even British cuisine, there’s an array of tastes on offer in this sunny resort. Indulge in delicious pasta and pizza at Restaurante Monaco or get the taste of Spain at the highly recommended La Pinta, or Pink Pollo Creative Chicken.

Culture

Although Can Picafort is predominantly known as a beachy holiday resort, it still holds culture that gives it character. Art lovers can appreciate the unique sculptures at the south end of Can Picafort Beach, which were created by artist Joan Bennassar and are of weird but wonderful goddesses by the sea. More of these sculptures can be found a little further along the coast towards Son Real, but if you prefer historic sites, you can find the archaeological site ‘Necropoli de Son Real’ there, which dates back to the 7th Century and consists of the ruins of tombs and graves.

Nightlife

Can Picafort has a fantastic range of bars and pubs to choose from, whether you’re looking for a few night-time tipples or to get up and dance – there’s a place for you. Enjoy a laid-back drink at Scandals Bar, sip your favourite cocktails at Barracuda or head to the Red Lion for a spot of karaoke. Wherever you go, you’ll find great drinks and a friendly atmosphere.
