Another unique historic site, the Tombs of the Kings is a must-visit attraction where you can explore ancient tombs dating back to as early as the 4th Century BC. As part of the Archaeological Park, the tombs are located underground, carved out of solid rock and despite the name, were the resting places of aristocracy and high-ranking officials. It was the grand appearance of the tombs that gave them the name ‘Tombs of the Kings’.
