Paseo Costa Canaria
Stretching all the way from Maspalomas to San Agustin, this two-mile long promenade takes in the very best of Playa del Ingles’ charms. With the whole length walkable in around an hour, it’s great for an easy-going trip out - head along at sunrise or sunset to bag some seriously impressive seafront snapshots.
Aqualand
Pulse-pounding slides, colourful kids’ zones and a lush lazy river - this amazing aqua park has it all, and bucketloads to spare. The Polynesia splash park is great for little ones, with pint-sized play aplenty - and the snake-like spirals of the Anaconda raft ride make for fabulous family fun. In need of a breather after all that action? There’s a gigantic lagoon pool lapped by gentle waves, along with a tropical sun terrace perfect for topping up that tan.
Yumbo Centre
This happening hotspot is a party paradise after dark - but with its huge range of shops, cafes and leisure facilities, the Yumbo makes a great daytime destination too. With six jewellery boutiques on offer, you’re in luck if bling is your thing - and thanks to the on-site hairdresser, beauty salon and gym, getting set for a big night out is a breeze. Plus, for family-friendly fun, there’s an 18-hole mini-golf course perched right outside.
Templo Ecumenico de San Salvador
Located right in the resort centre, this contemporary church offers an oasis of calm amidst all the action. Its spectacular stained-glass window is an attraction in itself, bathing the pews in a rainbow of colours - and design buffs will delight at the unique altar, hewn from a whopping 11-ton rock. Plus, the classical concerts are perfect for a tranquil tune or two - and if you fancy staying for a sermon, there’s plenty of English services on offer.
