Football fans visiting Almancil should check out the Estadio Algarve, which was used in the 2004 European Football Championship and is the home ground of Louletano DC and SC Farense. Another favourite for visitors is the karting track, which is a replica of the Jacarepagua Formula 1 circuit in Brazil. Next to the track is the Western Theme Park where you'll find arcade games, trampolines and picnic tables. Shopping while on Almancil holidays is a great way to put in an evening with a huge choice of shops, stores and boutiques on offer.
Culture
Religion is a big part of Portuguese culture and there are several churches in Almancil. The most popular of which is the Church of Sao Lourenco in the east of the town. The church is famous for its stunning architecture and is covered inside with ceramic tiles. If you enjoy food then you'll be in your element on your Almancil holidays because there are all sorts of local delicacies to sample, not to mention excellent local wines!

If you want a change of scenery then head to the glitz and glam of nearby Vilamoura and take a stroll around the glamourous marina. Hit Albufeira if you want a night out dancing in some of the best clubs in the Algarve.
