No need to Google what's in the local area - we've got you covered. It's all on site. No, really. You know the kind of hotels we're talking about. The ones where the beach is on your doorstep and you've got everything you need - pools, waterslides, bars, restaurants - the lot. You can forget booking a day trip to the nearest waterpark - at Eftalia Aqua Resort you'll have one right at your fingertips, decked out with 11 slides. That's a lot of sliding. And that's before we even get onto the two restaurants, nine bars and the fact that you'll have FREE unlimited access to Eftalia Island Beach Club with its amphitheatre and street food kiosks. Pools and beaches are great, but let's be honest - a day by the pool is nothing without a piping-hot toastie, and a day at the beach is nothing without a heaping plate of whatever the seafront restaurant's serving. Good food = good mood. It's just science. We like to branch out a bit from the bog-standard buffets, though. A la carte restaurants, Dine Around programmes, 24-hour cafés - we love a foodie hotel with a little something extra. Well, Mitsis Summer Palace Beach Hotel definitely ticks that box, with a Mediterranean brunch restaurant, a crepe shack and a beachside snack bar serving up all the classics.

We love a beachfront hotel. It's in our blood. Well, our name, actually. But you should know that we take our name very seriously, so when we say a hotel's on the beach, we mean ON the beach. Like, look out your window and the sea's right there. Walk out of the hotel and your feet hit the sand. You get the idea. Well, Albatros Laguna Vista Beach fits the bill for this one, and it's got a beachfront restaurant and a beach club where you can grab a bite to eat or cool off with a cocktail. Got to make the most of that location.

If you're looking for a hotel that's camera-ready, we feel you. It might look good on the website, but will it look good on the 'gram? Whether it's a funky design, a neon photo-op or a scenic view that you can't not snap a photo of, we know exactly what ticks the boxes for an Instagrammable hotel. Yeah, we're down with the kids. Paradiso Ibiza Art Hotel has to take the cake for this one, with a pastel-pink pool and bar area, comfy cabanas, an Art Deco design and retro in-room items, like a Smeg fridge and a Marshall speaker.
