• Theme parks not your thing? Not to worry, the Old Town is only a short stroll away if you're looking to low-key sightsee rather than loop-the-loop your way through your jolly.

• Orlando International Airport is only a 25-minute drive away from the hotel - talk about a speedy transfer!

• Pizza & Wings Co - this spot is delivery only, so don't be expecting to pull up a chair, but you can expect delish pizza and chicken wings... the clue's in the name.

Sports & Entertainment

• Swimming - a slice of calm amidst the theme park chaos (we mean chaos in the best way, naturally), you can visit the clubhouse, take a dip in the pool, and kick back on a lounger.

• Water Slides - the excitement isn't fully out of the picture though, we couldn't do that to you, so you can enjoy the two waterslides that are part of the pool area, they may not be tall, kamikaze style slides, but we bet you can't help yourself and you're gliding down 'em in no time.

• Fitness Centre - looking to keep active on your jollies, then make full use of the gym with views over the pool and everything from treadmills to weight machines available to get your blood pumping.

• Tennis - if the gym isn't your bag, then you've got tennis and pickleball courts on hand for a knock about, or some proper matches, we'll ref.
