This place has been renovated. .It lost  all its charm from the past
It looks like a luxery  dark crematorium
Its all about fake.Fake materials, fake staff
They invested in the most advanced cameras,  permanently controling guests and staff.
Its North Korea at the north sea

Super location with great views on the pond.  Beautifully redone with luxury touches.  Excellent restaurant with a marvelous grand room.  Ok fitness room, somewhat small for a new luxury hotel. Nice and big rooms with plenty of amenities. Excellent service.  Steps t from sauna to pool had no banister and were super slippery,  I had a bad fall and mentioned it to the spa attendants.  They were aware and it really surprised me they continued to operate it that way without a warning sign and at least some anti slip materials or cover.  That was a very big negative for me which would warrant a zero but I didn’t want to give that kind of rating for a hotel that is clearly aiming to be of at least a Four Seasons/ St Regis standard.

Clearly one of the top hotels in Belgium.  Recommend a visit.  Be very wary  of the dangerous steps to the pool.

My family and I decided to stop in Knokke-Heist for a few days during our Europe summer trip. The hotel we chose is ideally situated in the heart of the town, just a short stroll from the beach and right next to the bustling casino. From the moment you pull up to the entrance, you can sense the hotel's exclusivity and luxury. The sight of sleek, high-end cars parked out front and the constant flash of paparazzi cameras capturing every detail adds to the air of sophistication.
This hotel is known for its "car paparazzi," a unique feature where photographers with digital cameras gather to snap pictures of all the exotic vehicles that arrive. It's quite a spectacle and definitely adds an element of glamour to the experience.
If you're fortunate enough to get a room with a view of the lake, you're in for a treat. The lake view is stunning, with a beautiful fountain in the center that adds to the serene ambiance. Unfortunately, when we booked our stay, the hotel was fully occupied, and the only room available was the handicap-accessible room. However, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Due to an issue with the air conditioning in our initial room, we were upgraded to a larger suite.
The upgrade was a delightful surprise. The suite was incredibly spacious, offering a much more comfortable stay. The view from our new room was magnificent, overlooking the tranquil pond and featuring a lovely balcony where we could relax and take in the scenery. The added space and enhanced view truly elevated our experience.
The hotel's amenities are top-notch. The spa is well-equipped with a soothing steam room and a relaxing sauna, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The pool area is equally impressive, offering a spacious and inviting setting with a picturesque view of the pond. It's an ideal spot to relax and soak up the peaceful surroundings.
Dining at the hotel's restaurant was another highlight. The food was exceptional, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. Adding to the dining experience was a live singer who entertained guests, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere. The breakfast, which was included with our stay, was also very good, offering a wide range of choices to start the day off right.
Overall, our stay at this hotel in Knokke-Heist was an excellent experience. The facility is superb, combining luxury, comfort, and outstanding service. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to visit Knokke-Heist. It truly made our trip memorable and enjoyable.

Our stay at La Réserve was absolutely fantastic.
It was part of our Christmas trip around Belgium and it was totally outstanding.
The hotel, recently renovated, should be considered without a doubt 5*. Exceptional decoration, very high quality standards in all aspects, even with our little dog traveling with us
You can not miss the great atmosphere at the hotel bar, specially with live music every Friday night
The staff were really polite and professional. 
We will definitively come back whenever we will be close to Knokke
