B&B Potsdamer Platz is a frustrating experience from start to finish. Located an uncomfortably long walk from Potsdamer Platz and with limited public transport options—unless you're willing to brave Berlin’s bus system—it’s neither convenient nor welcoming.

The first impression isn’t great. The lobby, worn-out and uninviting, makes it clear that lingering is not encouraged. The staff situation is equally bleak: some appear visibly exhausted at the mere thought of assisting you, while others blend in so seamlessly with the lobby’s random wanderers that it’s hard to tell who actually works there. The overall hospitality vibe is less hotel, more government office.

Once inside, things don’t improve. The hallways are dirty, the elevators clunky, and the rooms—unnecessarily tiny and depressingly bare-bones—offer little in the way of comfort. Don’t expect a fridge, a kettle, or anything remotely useful. What you will find are broken walls, a dingy shower area, and wafer-thin towels that feel 100 years old (probably just 10, but they’ve certainly seen better days).

If you need anything extra—like a kettle or an ironing board—you can request one downstairs, but be prepared. The response depends entirely on who’s working: the kinder staff might help you out, while the ruder ones have mastered the art of the condescending "no."

Despite its central location, getting to and from the hotel is oddly inconvenient. It’s too far from major train stations like the U-Bahn or Potsdamer Bahnhof for a quick walk, but also too close for taxis to bother—expect cancellations and a forced trek through weather-worn sidewalks and roadworks.

While the pricing sort of reflects the experience, it’s still not quite low enough to justify the hassle. With better, cheaper hotels nearby, there’s little reason to stay here unless you absolutely have to.

Verdict: Look elsewhere.

A Disappointing Stay at B&B Potsdamer Platz

There should be parking: full
And after me asking: it’s my first time in Berlin, what do we do with our car? The cold and unhelpful response was: find a parking and pay some € 15 and come back.. luckily a police officer was helpfull and that got solved..
The guy at the desk seemed annoyed he actually needed do so something to earn his wage..
The room was hot, the bedsheets contained a stain that looked like blood..
Al in all.. I’dd recommend an other hotel for your stay..

the main reason for such a negative review was the presence of sex workers directly out side the hotel entrance from 6pm onwards. Check in was complicated, might i suggest just add a 'search by surname/email' option to help those who are without all of the information.  Make sure you have your reservation number ready to input if you arrive after 10pm. 

i stayed at a B&B Hotel in Milan last year and the consistency between the hotels is great. Room facilities are ideal for a few nights.

If you are looking for a no frills hotel this is worth considering.
As a base for exploring Berlin this hotel offers what you need, clean comfortable rooms, they're not large but unless you plan on staying in your room the entire time this was not a problem.
We arrived early due to an early flight and was able to leave luggage in their store, similarly on our return home, we did the same due to a late flight. 
The hotel is located close to public transport, both bus and u bahn, but sites such as Tiergarten and Brandenburg Gate are within walking distance.
There is no room safe or kettle in the room, if it had these I would give 5/5.
I would return here.
