Attention:
The hotel is currently undergoing a complete renovation. It is currently a construction site (as of May 14, 2024) and in my opinion is completely unsuitable as an overnight option. All floors are full of building materials (cement bags, shovels, etc.). The supposedly "habitable" 3rd floor is also completely filthy. The room smells of construction dust and the hallway is completely dusty/dirty.
Unsurprisingly, "payment in advance" was required.
So, urgently check/make sure in advance whether the hotel is "habitable". So far, no mention has been made of the condition. Currently: Absolutely not recommended

The hotel is currently a construction site!

We stayed one night in this small hotel because we had planned a visit to the Andernach Geiser, which requires half a day with predefined times.
The property is located next to one of the access gates to Andernach, therefore close to the historic center, and overlooks the riverfront so it enjoys an excellent location and good potential. Parking, free at night and paid by meter during the day, is available on the surrounding streets.

The room was small in size, with outdated and not very ergonomic furniture.
The bathroom also needs to be renovated.
The linen, which we had to ask for because they had forgotten to put it in the room, did not appear to be particularly "fresh".
In general the structure is not looked after at all, it almost seems to be in a state of abandonment, so much so that we preferred to have breakfast in a bar in the centre.
