Great Service. We had a problem with our heating in the room, the staff quickly dealt with it without fuss and moved us. Reception team and Maria the manager were very welcoming and accommodating, thank you! Bar staff also excellent - very attentive. Would recommend - centrally located, easy access and near to Acropolis and many restaurants. Great hotel bar/restaurant - Greco.

2 glorious nights! Sleek. Stylish. Sexy. Modern - and yet, somehow with the most incredible vintage-like vibe. Absolutely stunning. Like out of a movie. A little neo-noir … ?

Gatsby was everything we hoped for, and a ton more. Elegant. Clean. Superlative bar (we are cocktail enthusiasts!). Excellent on-site restaurant, Geco. Perfectly situated (Syntagma) - within walking distance of the Acropolis and museum, fantastic restaurants, and pedestrian-streets of the jam-packed Plaka. Lovely, welcoming staff. Five-star service. 

Prosecco and fresh fruit delivered to our room was a nice touch – very classy!

The rooftop patio is gorgeous – and, if in just the right spot, you will see the Acropolis from here.

Opportunities for improvement – only a couple of minor suggestions:

•	The private guided tour of Acropolis and museum (arranged through the hotel) was just ok.  We had the sense that our guide was quite knowledgeable, but somewhat shy to share what she knew. 

•	Restocking our supply of fresh water (bottled) was slow (end of day, by request) – easy fix.

•	The music in the restaurant is loud, too loud for conversation while dining.  At the end of the evening we were glad our room was situated on one of the upper floors, where the music didn’t reach.

Cannot say enough about this amazing place we called home for 2 days. 

Did you know - Gatsby is currently rated in the top 1% of 300+ hotels in Athens (5/353)?! Bravo Gatsby – well deserved.

Highly recommend, and plan to return someday.

Set your expectations – know that the view from the room may be a somewhat run-down neighboring building. For us it simply added to the charm – it’s Athens, after all – one of the world’s oldest cities. (Only writing this as we read at least a couple of reviews expressing dissatisfaction with the view). We loved it.

Cool vibes, cool corner room

The hotel is in a great location. A well-designed room with a large, comfortable bed. Delicious breakfast. And the hotel's restaurant is highly recommended.The reception staff are very attentive and nice. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

An amazing hotel with unique character! In an excellent location in the heart of Athens,  with beautiful ambiance in public areas. Friendly staff , very clean and polished. Food is also high quality. Live music gives the stay something extra.
