Hotel highlights

  • Greek restaurant, Italian restaurant, BBQ restaurant, buffet restaurant and a fine-dining restaurant for an adults-only date night, and that's not even half of the restaurants and bars up for grabs

  • A library, but not the kind you're thinking of (this one is much better), a wine library full of over 150 different wines. Now this is a library we wanna visit

  • Stylish rooms with tonnes of amenities and an open plan space for a relaxing stay

  • Swimming pools, tennis courts (7?!), loads of sports activities and a kids' club for the little guests. We don't wanna be hearing the words 'I'm bored'

Just so you know, the official rating of this property is four stars, however due to the excellent quality of services and facilities, we feel that the hotel is worthy of a five-star rating.

Due to the layout of Grecotel LUX ME Daphnila Bay Dassia, this hotel is not recommended for guests with mobility issues.

Location

  • Few mins walk to the beach - how's that for a commute?

  • Around a 23-minute drive from Corfu International Airport - we love a speedy journey, you'll be able to smell the cocktails as soon as you get off the plane

  • Around a 22-minute drive from Corfu Town - before you check Uber to see how much it'll cost. Don't even sweat it. There's a FREE daily shuttle service from the hotel! (reservation is required)

  • Gattopardo Bar & Restaurant (age 12+) - a fine-dining (aka. very, very fancayy) restaurant where you'll be snapping pics of each course and sipping on delish wines (prior reservation required).

  • Antica Cucina Buffet Restaurant - come here for a buffet brekkie and extra tasty Mediterranean and BBQ-style lunch and dinner. Help yourself and pile your plate high!

  • Corfu-Venezia Hot Stone - *warning* cooking is involved when visiting this restaurant. This cool concept lets the chef prepare your meal, and thanks to the unique hot lava rock you can finish cooking it at the table. With Italian antipasti and delish desserts to finish off the meal, this is the recipe for a bangin' date night (prior reservation required).

  • Asia Oliva - offers Asian and Fusion cuisine with a buffet-style lunch and fancy Sushi platters in the evening and relaxing live music.

  • Tavernaki Greek Restaurant - stop it, this restaurant is right on the beach offering dreamy views (imagine at sunset, wowee) and a top-notch mezze menu of Greek dishes that is technically made for sharing, but you probably won't want to. Don't forget to finish off the meal with a shot of Ouzo, it'll make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside (prior reservation required).

  • Oliva on the beach - an all-day dining spot smack bang in the middle of the resort, so whether you're belly has started rumbling on the beach, or you're sat by the pool craving a snack, hit this place up for loads of tasty dishes

  • Patisserie and Chocolaterie - two of our (and probably yours) words, there's freshly made chocolate bars and cakes, pastries and other desserts in the cabinet of dreams. We wouldn't tell the dentist about this...

  • Creperie-Gelateria by the beach - the sweet stuff continues, and it's right on the beach so you don't need to travel far to pick up a tasty gelato, crepe or waffle

  • Afternoon tea (reservation required) - a traditional ritual where delicious herbal teas are enjoyed

  • Il Barreto Wine Library - aka. wine heaven, there's actually so many wine bottles that it's part of the decoration, you can sample over 150+ (maybe not in one go, the hangovers are a killer) wines from Greece and around the globe

  • Drinks are available from a choice of bars including the Kiparrisi Terrase Bar & Salon, Kumquat Pool Bar, Theatre Bar, and the gorgeous Mandolato Beachside Bar

  • Padel court (extra charge) - get your racquet out and enjoy some lessons with a professional instructor on one of the seven tennis and padel courts. Yeah, we said seven!

  • GrecoLand Club, which presents tons of fun-filled activities for kids ages 4-12 and 13-17 by day, and by nighttime everyone can have a party at the mini disco or a movie night at the cinema

  • Handy extra for the tiny travellers, free cots, buggies (extra charge), highchairs and bottle-making facilities (extra charge) can be pre-booked

  • e-Bike service (extra charge) - daily bicycle rental is available with digital tours, built-in GPS and app services

  • Danilia Village Guided Tour - a 1930s replica of a Corfiot village, with exclusive rates of 20€ per adult and 10€ per child for guests staying at Grecotel resorts on the Kommeno peninsula. The cost includes a round-trip transfer, the tour and a treat at the kafeneion

Please note that the teen club runs from mid-June to mid-September only. There are also a great range of activities on offer nearby (extra charge) including an 18-hole golf course, horse riding, and diving.
