Location

• The resort literally leads right up to the beach. It's more pebbly than sandy, but hey - it's still a beach! Plus, the glass-clear water makes up for it. Bring your goggles if you fancy spotting Nemo.

• Just a 17-minute drive from Kos Airport. Stick a few of your favourite holiday bangers on, and then you're there!

Rooms

• You'll be spoilt for choice, with Twin Rooms, Bungalows, Maisonettes, Suites and Villas, if you're feeling very boujee

• Room types vary from sea view to garden view, and some come with access to a private pool or sharing pool, so you're never far from a good dunk

• Twin Sea View Rooms, Private Pool Rooms, Garden View Bungalows, Sea View Bungalows and Sharing Pool Bungalows all contain one bedroom

• Main buffet restaurant - with a Greek breakfast corner in the morning, kid-friendly grub, gluten-free options, themed nights and a dinner buffet with everything from salad and seafood to freshly made pizza

• Brunch a la carte - available from 8am 'til 1pm (perfect if you're a late-riser like us), you can tuck into all the classics - including eggs benedict and pancakes, washed down with a smoothie or a cocktail, if you fancy. It's 5 O'Clock somewhere!

• Italian a la carte - think fresh pasta and wood-fired pizzas in an elegant setting, even the scent of this restaurant will make your mouth drool

• Pan-Asian & Sushi a la carte - enjoy a menu packed with noodles, Peking duck and classic bao buns on an open-air terrace by the pool

• Ellinadiko à la carte - when in Greece, right? Stop by for a meze lunch or explore the jam-packed dinner menu. Take it from us, the courgette croquettes are to die for.

• Tex Mex à la carte - from spicy fajitas to bursting burritos, fill your boots with some of the best, and you've gotta wash it all down with a margarita, we'll have a spicy one please?

• Destination Greek a la carte - Mediterranean and Greek classics, all in one place. You're in Greece after all so this place has to be top-notch

• Destination South American a la carte - for grilled dishes coming all the way from Peru, Brazil and Argentina with seasonings that'll make your tastebuds do a lil dance

• American Street Food - featuring all the naughty stuff, like burgers, hotdogs, tacos and tortillas - ideal for a midday bite. P.s there are salads too if you want something a little lighter

• Greek Street Food Kiosk- gyros takeaway at the beach? You don't have to ask us twice! And when they throw a few chips in there, you don't even have to ask us once. We're there.

• Vegan and Vitamin Bar - your one-stop shop for healthy snacks, from freshly-made smoothies to Greek yoghurt loaded with fruit

• Sweet Corner - treat your sweet tooth to pastries, cakes, crepes and ice cream - served until 11pm. We won't tell the dentist if you don't.

• Six bars - including two pool bars, a beach bar and a theatre bar

  • Stop by the bar near reception for killer cocktails (the best at the hotel, just saying), including some off-the-menu concoctions if you ask with a smile!

  • Just a heads up - if you order a 'beer' 'round these parts, it might be more like what us Brits know us a lager. Either way, bottoms up...

• Night Bar with live music, open 'til late - ideal for all you party peeps

• Cotton candy and popcorn carts at the mini club - any chance us grown-ups can get a bit of that?

• Waiter service at the pool and bar - so you don't even need to pause your tanning sesh for a snack or drinks top-up

• Menus - our tip? Log into the hotel Wi-Fi that signposts you to the food/drink menus, and you'll be able to browse all the menus at your leisure.

• Dress code: all the restaurants have a dress code at dinner, so you might want to save the shorts and sleeveless tops for 'round the pool.

  • Psst! Poolside loungers get snapped up fast, so you might want to set your alarm. Otherwise, there's always space at the beach - which we're obviously all for.

• Hit the beach (it's literally right there!)

  • Tons of watersports on offer, for an extra charge

  • A pedalo ride is a must with the kiddos, and get yourself one with a slide for maximum fun vibes. If they're tots, just make sure you choose one with a small slide. Thank us later.

• FREE access to waterslides - head next door to Mitsis Norida for some waterslidin' fun. There's only a few, so don't set your expectations too high, but if you've got half an hour to kill, this is your place. (Remember to pack water unless you fancy paying for drinks, because your all-inclusive wristband won't work over there!)

• Mini Club (ages 4 to 11) and Teen Club (ages 12-16) - for when you can't take another second of hearing I'm bored. We feel ya.

• Kids' pool - so the kiddos have somewhere to paddle and splash about

• Kids' activities - including a carousel and mini discos at night so you can get all those songs stuck in your head

• Arcade Room - kitted out with air hockey, pool tables and plenty of games to keep you and the teens entertained.

• Hiking trail - if you fancy getting your steps in, there are some cracking trails around the resort, including one that heads up over 800ft with Insta-worthy views of the hotel and coastline. So don't forget to bring your phone along!

• Local bars - got a football match you don't want to miss? Catch it on the big screen at Club Zone, just a 5-minute walk away. And if you don't fancy walking, just hit the hotel concierge up and you'll get whizzed over by golf buggy! Told you you're a VIP.

FYI, you'll need to book a table reservation if you fancy dining at Ellinadiko, the Italian, Tex Mex, Destination Greek, Destination South American, the Pan-Asian restaurants or the brunch a la carte. You can book an online reservation via the Concierge Platform or the Mitsis App. That's right - they're down with the kids.

Got a special occasion? The hotel offers birthday or anniversary packages which can be organised via the Concierge Platform. Candlelit dinners on the beach can also be organised. That's brownie points for life, just sayin'.
