First and foremost- this is not a hotel.
This is a guest house, a very basic one at best. We arrived with a gift card after making a reservation on their website, and  we were informed by a very rude, very angry manager that not only she will not cancel our reservation, but she will not accept our gift card since she makes no money out of it and she rather give away our room- although would not give us our money back for the hold on the room. This is a very very basic room. All furniture is old or scratched or stained. Bed was hard. Balcony could only fit a small standing person. Not worth the money

הזמנתי 4 חדרים לארבע זוגות חברים. את ההזמנה עשיתי טלפונית ומכיוון שחלק מהבקשות שלי היו להיות ביחד באותה קומה (אם אפשר, קרובים אחד לשני) אז פקידת הקבלה שעשתה לי את ההזמנה ביקשה שאצור קשר עם מנהלת ההזמנות שבבד"כ עוסקת רק עם הזמנות של קבוצות.
שורה תחתונה - אנשי צוות מדהימים. היו לי מספר שיחות לברר לגבי המלון ותנאי ההזמנה, לפני וגם אחרי ההזמנה, וכולם בלי יוצא מהכלל היו אדיבים, מנומסים ונתנו לי מענה ענייני. זה לא ברור מאליו. 
אז מה עוד ביקשתי? יש ארוחת ערב וארוחת צהרים (היינו בשבת). האוכל היה מגוון והיה בשפע. החדרים מרווחים ממוזגים ועם מרפסת. קומקום וקפה בחדר וגם כספת. יש מעלית שבת. יש פינות ישיבה, גם בקומה וגם בקומת כניסה ליד הלובי. ביקשנו להישאר עד מוצ"ש וזה התאפשר (תמורת תשלום נוסף). המיקום מדהים! מקווה שלא שכחתי לציין משהו.

I booked 4 rooms for 4 couples (friends). I made the reservation by phone and since some of my requests were to be together on the same floor (if possible, close to each other), the receptionist who made the reservation for me asked me to contact the reservation manager who usually only deals with group reservations.
Bottom line - amazing staff!! I had several calls to find out about the hotel and the conditions of the reservation, before and after the reservation, and everyone without exception was kind, polite and gave me a matter-of-fact answer. it is not obvious.
So what else did I ask for? Dinner and lunch (our stay was on Shabbat). The food was varied and plentiful. The rooms are spacious, air-conditioned and with a balcony. Kettle and coffee in the room and also a safe. There is a Shabbat lift. There are sitting areas, both on the our floor (5th) and near the lobby at the entrance. We asked to leave late (until Motze Shabbat) & it was possible (for an additional fee). The location is amazing!
Hope that I didn't forget to mention something.

Would definately stay here again when visiting Jaffa

Family of 4 visiting from the US, the Ruth Daniel hotel was a good home base that had everything we needed. 
Just a couple blocks walking distance to the beautiful Jaffa clock tower, many art galleries and flea market and a 20m Uber/Gett ride to Tel Aviv.
The rooms:
Decent sized rooms. We appreciated that the bathroom is divided into three spaces - toilet, shower, sink area. This was very helpful for a family needing to share space. The balconies are really cute (not a great view). 
Overall: 
Prepare yourself for a very basic accommodation and you will be pleased. 
The best part is the staff who are super helpful and patient. Breakfast was also very nice.

Family friendly, simple, and great location in Jaffa

This hotel was chosen by our organization in a season in which - according to what we have been told - the hotels in Tel Aviv were packed.
This hotel however was a good choice. Having only one evening and the whole day after, we were able to visit those sights of Tel Aviv that it was possible to see in such a short time, always walking on foot: so the location is appreciable.
The hotel itself is comfortable. Cared for in all its parts, common and not, it allowed us a pleasant stay. The breakfast (included) was also appreciable.
The price was high (in line with an expensive city like Tel Aviv). Our guide told us that the double room cost the equivalent of 190 euros per night.
Please note that the hotel complies with the Shabbat rules. So, for example, no breakfast on Saturday mornings.

Expensive hotel (like almost everything in Tel Aviv), but pleasant and well located
