President Park Hotel

We had a fabulous stay at The President Park Hotel. The rooms (we stayed in the deluxe) were stylish,spacious, immaculate and very comfortable. All of the staff were extremely friendly,kind and helpful especially Marco,Daniella,Errena,Rosie and the gentleman with the little beard. Having a lifeguard at the pool was great and Lily was fabulous at her job trying to make sure everyone had a sunbed and sunshade. The breakfast was plentiful and the dining room team were so efficient and happy to help in any way as were the pool bar team. 
The housekeeping team made sure our room was immaculate before and during our stay. The grounds and hotel were well maintained and everyone was friendly and polite. We only used the shuttle bus twice (as we had a car) but it was a useful and reliable service which was complimentary. Thank you for making our stay so special.

Nice modern Hotel, very clean , and friendly staff , good choice of food for the continental breakfast, we ate out each night so didn’t use the restaurant, and the pool was not open as think it was a little early in the season, we made good use of the car we hired when we landed as hotel is a bit isolated , bedroom was very nice with fantastic views, only one criticism is as you go down the steps to the breakfast room walking along you pass a couple of steps to a conference type of room , these could be barriered  off because if your not looking where you are going /old people may have an accident

Short stay at the President Park Hotel

To stay in this hotel you need a car and even so the surrounding little towns there isn’t much to do apart from a few nice restaurants even struggled to find a shop. They do have a shuttle service but only to the local 2 places and this doesn’t run much throughout the day. The rooms are nice, the breakfast was simple and not great quality and the staff weren’t very helpful! We tried to upgrade our room as we thought we had a balcony and we were refused. You aren’t even allowed to have any drinks/snacks in your room which I have never heard of and even worse in such an isolated hotel. Wouldn’t return.

A modern resort-style hotel overlooking the sea from a high point beyond Catania with spectacular views, nice pool and poolside bar, excellent selection of gins and single malt scotch, superior service and extremely quiet room with lots of English language TV channels. 20 mins to airport or train station and not close to main district of Catania, but a true quality experience.
