The hotel is well-situated for travelers wanting to explore Tokyo’s lively neighborhoods, with both Shin-Okubo and the Kabukicho area of Shinjuku within walking distance. For added convenience, there’s also a nearby Don Quijote store open late, making it easy to pick up essentials or snacks after a day out.

The capsule rooms are clean and provide a functional, minimal space. The lounge area feels open and comfortable, offering a nice place to relax after a busy day. During my stay, I attended an art event in Kabukicho, and being able to walk back to the hotel was convenient. The hotel’s affordability and central location make it a practical choice for those looking to explore the city.

Points to Consider:
Like many capsule hotels, noise can be a factor; it’s possible to hear other guests snoring or coughing. Earplugs are available at the front desk for those sensitive to sound, and guests are encouraged to avoid using audible alarms, though some may still do so. With a few shower booths under maintenance, there could be some delays during peak times.

A Practical Option for Urban Explorers

- During my Japan vacation and about 8 different hotels, this was the worst experience. Staff were extremly unfriendly and rude and this is the main reason for poor rating. Maybe they were just fed up with tourists. You needed give up your keys and security card every time you left the building, which was odd imo. Ladies bathrooms and showers were full and occupied and quite stressful during mornings. You woke up everytime someone entered the capsule room, and when someones alarm went on. Earplugs didn’t help much. 
+ Plus sides: Cleaniness was good, and you get new towels and slippers when needed. Even though there was lot of people, there was lot of space in cafeteria area. Free coffee and drinks. Affordable. 

If you want rest and comfort, this is not your place. Capsule hotels are not for me, but I’ve experience better capsule hotels.

Rude staff

Best place to stay in Tokyo! 3 mins walk to Shin Okubo station, 15 mins walk to Shibuya, literally right down the building are convenient stores and restaurants. Staff are so friendly, free-flowing coffee, water and juices every day. The whole place is so clean. They provide toiletries too including skincare like facial wash and moisturiser. Just book it!

I'll start with the negative and then will state the positive (my stay was overall positive :) )
I am not exactly tall (166.6cm) however the blanket did not reach my whole body, it reached to my knees only lmao. And the pillow was not comfy at all. Buuuuuut I was able to fall asleep, so I can't really complain so much!!!
I went during golden week so it is not the hotel's fault at all if the area was 10000% crowded. Just a fact, do not go there during golden week, maybe? But the area was so, so, so fun! I was not able to o a lot of activities, but gosh, I could have spent days in the streets around Rembrandt :) Not a fan of k-pop but for those who are, Shin-Okubo is the place to go! The food in the area's restaurants looked great and the vibe is so cool.
What I liked about Rembrandt was the common room. They had hot strawberry tea, like awww!!! I loved that. And big windows with a great view of Tokyo :) 
They also have a latte art machine. Did not use it myself but it looked cool! 
What I liked too, is that there were slippers, towels and i can't remember what else, but little things included in the booking :) The staff was very nice too. 

Very small beds with small blankets, but otherwise very cool! in the heart of Tokyo! :) *fun neighborhood Shin-Okubo*
