  • O Pescador - fresh seafood prepped with the local catch of the day.

  • O Grill - overlooking the golf course and swimming pool, this buffet service spot is the perfect place to take a seat and enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner.

  • Piri Piri Steakhouse - the clues in the name, prime cuts of meat grilled to your specifications and accompanied with the perfect glass of wine.

  • Mare at Pine Cliffs - a toes-in-the-sand kinda vibe serving up delish fresh fish and seafood dishes for lunch and dinner.

  • Zest - this ones for the health kickers, fresh squeezed juices, smoothies and salads offered up for breakfast and lunch, or through the Grab & Go service.

  • Yakuza by Olivier - a traditional Japanese speciality spot with a dash of Mediterranean flair served in an outdoor garden setting.

  • Corda Cafe - a lunch and dinner spot in the heart of the resort serving up light meals and refreshing drinks under the shade.

  • Mirador Champagne Bar - along the lines of a cliff, this is the place to be for gorge views, sunsets to die for and a selection of cocktails, spirits and wines.

  • Portulano Lobby Bar - live music, a club-feel setting and a selection of cocktails and wines to make sure you're evening goes off without a hitch.

Sports & Entertainment

Just a heads up, some facilities will incur an extra charge.

  • Swimming - the private swimming pool at this area of the resort is tucked awat in palm tree lined gardens for a touch of quiet, relaxation, or you can wander down to the beach for all things sand and sea.

  • Serenity Spa - 'The Art of Well Being' is the focus here, it's the tag line afterall, so make full use of the facilities available including 13 treatment rooms, a thermal oasis, a hydrotherapy pool, a herbal bio sauna, a Himalayan salt sauna, steam rooms, an ice fountain and a jacuzzi among other bits and bobs.

  • Sporty Bits - feel like a pro with the on-site golf course, FIFA standard football pitch and clay tennis courts, but if you're giving more beginner vibes, there's a golf academy, and tennis academy to get your skills up to scratch. Or, ditch the sports and head to Active by Serenity, the on-site gym facility chock full of the latest Technogym equipment.

    • Water Sports - why stop at ground sports when the beach is right there with a tonne of water sports on offer including jet skiing, water-skiing, wakeboarding, ringo riding, banana boating, kayaking and a tonne more (running July - October weather permitting).

  • Porto Pirata Kids Village boasts two multi-functional, life-size, wooden pirate ships perfect for ages 6 months to eight, the staff are on-hand to keep an eye out while the little ones explore everything from the seven seas to the bouncy castle, there's also a basketball court, a mini-golf course and even a mini track for big-wheel toys.

  • The Junior Club is for the teens you've got in tow on your jollies, with facilities including mini-golf, water ball, crossbow and aim shooting and even a 7-a-side football pitch. The football academy also runs daily classes that culminate in a tournament at the end of each week.

  • The Deli - make the most of your in-room kitchens and cook up a storm with ingredients picked up from the on-site mini market from fresh daily produce to bakery goods. There's also beach and pool goodies and hygiene products if you blanked on the essentials while you were packing.

  • Mimo Algarve Cooking School Gourmet Shop - hands-on cooking and wine experiences perfect for the whole family to get aquainted with traditional and modern Portuguese flavours that we reckon will make their way back to your kitchen at home.
