The worst stay ever. The front desk lady was unhelpful, the buffet wasn’t ready on time and the AC didn’t heat at all. The elevator isn’t big enough for all the guest at any time. Totally disappointing. 

My baby was cold at night and didn’t have breakfast  the day after.

The only people who were kind and helpful were the guy at the front desk and the waiter in the evening.

Disappointing Stay

I caught the SBB train from Zurich to Rumlang and had a 15 minute walk with my suitcase to the hotel.

My room was quiet with no easily discernible traffic or airport noise.

The bed was sleep-inducing with a comfortable mattress and doona/duvet.

There were bedside reading lamps, a chair and backless stool, a desk and a useless suitcase space that was too small.

Lighting and WiFi were fine.

The bathroom lacked a second toilet roll. There were two bath towels but no hand towels.

Blackout curtains did their job.

I did not have breakfast but it lacked yoghurt and looked basic.

Next morning, the free airport shuttle as I had booked direct took exactly 10 minutes to the airport.

Good bed but minimal in-room facilities

Positive: it is close to the airport. Negatives: room hadn’t been cleaned when we got to it, hot water took 2 minutes and still wasn’t hot, sink wouldn’t drain, one shower towel per person with no hand towels, parking was overpriced for an empty and unsecured lot.

Don’t expect much

This was the worst hotel that I’ve seen in a very long time. The room wasn’t just small – it was tiny. There was about 1 foot of space around the bed (3 sides), and about 2 feet of space on the fourth side. It might work for 1 person but it was absolutely unsuitable for two people. When we brought our luggage in, there was no room left for us to move around. If the bathroom door was open, there was no room left to walk by as the open door nearly touched the opposite wall. The pillows were about half the size of normal pillows. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The room didn’t have a coffee maker or a kettle, and no fridge either. Coffee/tea was available in the lobby for 4 euros per cup.  The hotel didn’t have a bell boy to help with luggage, and it didn’t provide luggage carts either. The bathroom had only 2 towels (there were two of us in the room). The bathroom didn’t have any hooks or shelves where to hang/put the towels. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anybody.
