Overview

• The Grand Palace - 25-40 minutes away in a taxi, depending on the traffic! It's worth it, though, and whilst you're here you can visit the famous Reclining Buddha that's just next door

• Khaosan Road - again, around 25-40 minutes taxi-ride, but there'll be plenty of cold (and extremely cheap) beer waiting for you when you get there

• Lumphini Park - only a 15-20 minute ride in a taxi

• Bangkok Airport - 30 minutes' drive away
