Cape Dara Resort Pattaya
Overview
When you're this close to the beach, it's not surprising that every restaurant, bar and even spa has sea views, and it seriously adds to that chilled-out holiday vibe. There's nothing more relaxing that getting a massage whilst you're literally looking at the ocean, and you can actually do that here! In the meantime, the other half can take the kids to the play room to let off steam, and you can then get 'lost' finding your way back to them and maybe end up at the swim-up pool bar...

Right on the beach
Around 1 hour and 15 minutes' drive from Bangkok Airport

A huge range of room types, from Deluxe Rooms and Deluxe Corner Rooms (the best views!), to Family Suites, Private Pool Suites and Beachfront Suites

Food & Drink
Radius - one word describes this place: 'open'. It's open-air, it's open all day and you've got a pretty open choice for what to eat, with an international buffet and full a la carte menus of Asian and European dishes
Ming Xing - serving traditional Chinese cuisine and dim sum brunches with fabulous views
Walala Beach Bar - we'll level with you, this one's not actually on the beach, but it's got a pretty excellent view of the beach and it's only a few steps away from the sand. Plus, it's a swim-up bar, so you don't even have to leave the pool to enjoy an icy cold drink. You'll get over the name once you're there.
Twinkle Pool Bar - delicious drinks and an a la carte snack menu whilst you chill poolside under the shade of an umbrella
Mellow Bakery Café - this little place has got fridges full of sweet treats, freshly baked breads and pastries, barista coffees and fine teas
Sphere - the only nitrogen bar in town, and it's open until midnight! Fancy cocktails, fun liquid nitrogen displays and a great evening atmosphere
Just so you know, if you'd like a veggie option at breakfast, you can let the hotel know in advance to make sure they've got plenty of choice for you
Sports & Entertainment
Two outdoor swimming pools, both with stunning sea views
Kids' playroom with an interactive play table, blackboard wall and games corner
The Luminous Spa, overlooking the beach, offers massages, body scrubs, facials and manipedis
Gym with plenty of space and equipment for a great workout
