Sports & Entertainment

Some of the other amenities and services at the hotel include a beautiful outdoor swimming pool with a children's pool, sun loungers, parasols and a hot tub to give the real Thai experience. A steam room and massage treatments are also offered. The nearby beach is sandy and comes with sun loungers and parasols.

Surin Beach Phuket is a popular destination for the rich and famous and is located North of Laem Singh Beach and South of Pansea Beach on the West Coast of Phuket. Shopping

Surin is notable for its quite low key shopping and there are some interesting places to stop in the area. Start at the up market shopping mall, the Surin Plaza, located just before you reach Surin Beach from Cherng Talay. Then there are some nice shop-houses with good quality items near the beach itself. Other fun and more adventurous shopping is at the local weekend market in villages nearby Surin Beach.

Nightlife

Don't expect a Patong nightlife ambience in Surin. It's a more tasteful, laid back experience and all the better for it. Surin nightlife changes with the seasons. From November to May party life buzzes along the beach and further inland. For the rest of the year, however, the area's nocturnal activities are pretty much confined to restaurants and bars.

Beach Activities

The Manathai Resort, Phuket has its own area on the beach for resort guests, including umbrellas and lounge chairs.

October through April is the best time of year to Snorkel in Surin Beach, around both the headlands. Snorkeling equipment on the beach. Kayaks are also available for rent and it’s the perfect way to see the exclusive Pansea Beach. Further south is Laem Sing Beach, which is also within kayaking distance.

If surfing is your sport, May through October are traditionally good months at Surin Beach, at either the southern or northern headlands.
