The Thai owners chose the site for this hotel in the laid back south of Phuket mostly for it's close proximity to Friendship Beach in Rawai, and created a natural and eco-friendly haven, which has retained its unmistakable Thai charm. Rich in local history, The Vijitt has a wonderful Thai atmosphere with friendly staff that genuinely strives to ensure guests enjoy their stay at this resort in Phuket.

This first-class boutique resort comprises 92 individual villa-style units of accommodation, 31 of which have a private pool. In addition there are 3 two-bedroom family villas and 4 luxury one-bedroom beachfront villas. The resort is fully air-conditioned and welcomes its guests into a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service and currency exchange facilities.

This resort is situated right on the tidal Friendship Beach, prime beachfront land in Rawai!

It features a 250-metre-long beach totalling 18 acres and enjoys stunning views across Chalong Bay to Lon and Coral Islands and Cape Panwa. The site has retained much of its original charm by incorporating the mature palms, fruit and other trees into the overall design.

TWO-BEDROOM POOL VILLAS

Three spacious, single story villas [182sq.m.] carry the environmental theme from outside, through the small entrance way garden, across the generous sized 10 m. private pool and large terrace through open double doors to a copious sized master bedroom with double bed overlooking the pool. Lie in bed and enjoy the ambience and view. Bathe in the sunken Jacuzzi bath or the spacious shower.

VIJITT POOL VILLAS

Four single story villas [162sq.m.] that take spacious, indulgence to rich new levels. Facing the azure green of Chalong Bay on the Friendship Beach waterfront and surrounded by lush native vegetation, one bathroom has an indoor garden, bathtub and rain-shower. A private sun-bed with your own umbrella in the front gardens take privacy to a new level. The 11 m. infinity pool has an integral Jacuzzi for that romantic, private bathing experience.

The opulent, separate living room opens on to an expansive private garden running down to the beach. Mature trees shading the area testify to dedication to preserving the original environment. A truly rich and rewarding experience for those who love to be pampered in a serene setting.

Food & Drink

Dining is a key part of the Vijitt experience. Thai southern cuisine is a best kept secret that Vijitt Resort Phuket's Thai chefs bring to guest's table to open a Pandora's box of succulent dishes.

Thai's say ”aroi” if food is delicious. The two restaurants and in-villa dining focus on the best local ingredients, organic foods and herbs and vegetables from the resort's own gardens and fruit trees, such as mango, sapodilla berries and cashew nuts. The Beach Bar offers superb sea views to complement your favourite cocktail.

The Savoury

Expansive buffet breakfasts, all day dining and combined a la carte and buffet dinners overlooking the infinity edge pool and Friendship Beach to Chalong Bay's gently rippling waters create a dining ambience that entices guests to linger and enjoy. Thai chefs prepare succulent Thai and Western dishes graciously served by smiling, efficient Thai staff. The Sunday brunch is expansive and popular with Rawai district locals.

BAAN VIJITT

This flagship restaurant set in an historic Sino-Portuguese style house retains several original features from 1954 and takes guests back to a bye-gone era of Phuket, it also features traditional southern Thailand specialty dishes, many with a contemporary twist. Opening onto the lush gardens and on the waterfront, the restaurant offers a unique gastronomic dining experience for the romantically inclined and gastronomes alike. (Open seasonally)

The resort features an outdoor swimming pool and a children's swimming area. Leisure facilities include a gym, steam rooms and massage and spa treatments (fees apply for both). The nearby beach is sandy, and guests wishing to play a round of golf can visit the nearby golf course, which is some 25 minutes from the resort.
