Eftalia Splash Resort

Overview

It's splash-action, all day, every day. Eftalia Splash Resort has all the slides for the youngsters, teens and the big kids (or adults) from the wild racers to a more tame baby slide for the little 'uns. We obviously need to talk about the beach. Just hop on a quick shuttle bus to the beach, so you can get there in a jiffy (without even scuffing your flip-flops). You even get access to Eftalia Island Beach Club. Now that's a fab 2 in 1 deal!

Eftalia Island Beach Club

Hop on the handy beach shuttle and you'll have this place at your fingertips quicker than you can say baklava. Once you get there, you can choose which of the three zones fits your vibe:

• Relax Zone - think comfy cabanas and a laidback beach bar

• Kids' Zone - with a kids' club and splash park for the youngsters

• Activities Zone - waterslides, sports courts and an amphitheatre if you fancy catching a show

If that's got you excited, then wait until you get a load of this. This decked-out beach club also offers:

• 14 waterslides for adults (including the stomach-flipping black hole)

• Playgrounds and splash parks for the kids

• Snack restaurant for all those fast-food cravings (from waffles to fried chicken)

• 4 a la carte restaurants (Italian, Turkish, Asian and a grill restaurant)

• Beer, wine and soft drinks at the beach bar

• Amphitheatre with daily themed shows

• Open-air discos and foam parties

• Slushies and candyfloss (extra charge)

• Starbucks coffee (extra charge)

Just so you know, some activities - such as mini golf, watersports and the zipline - will require an extra charge. A la carte restaurants aren't included in the regular all-inclusive package so will require an extra charge, as well as any spirits from the bars.

Location

• 600m from the beach, or just a few minutes on the shuttle bus to you and me (runs every 20 minutes during summer, from 09:00 - 00:00).

• Just under 1 hour and 30 minutes drive away from Antalya Airport.

• Only an 8-minute walk to the centre of Turkler if for any reason you fancy walking away from the beach and into the streets to soak up some culture!

Rooms

• At Eftalia Splash Resort there is space for all in these stylish and comfortable rooms:

  • Standard Rooms can sleep just one person if you're flying solo, or up to 2 adults and a child if you've got a little one with you

  • Family Rooms come decked out with two bedrooms (with a double and single bed in each one, plus a sofa bed), so there's plenty room in these bad boys if you've got the whole fam in tow!

• Each room is kitted out with:

  • En suite bathroom with a walk-in shower

  • Hairdryer

  • Telephone

  • Safety deposit (extra charge)

• Main buffet restaurant - exactly what it says on the tin, this place is your go-to for a help-yourself kind of meal (our fave kind)

• A la carte restaurant (extra charge) - open in the evening, this is the perfect spot for an al fresco dinner

• Burgerland - no prizes for anyone who guesses what classic fast-food snack this venue specialises in...

• Patisserie - tea, coffee and cake all in one place? Starbucks found shaking

• Poolside Snack Bar - ideal for a post-swim bite (or ice cream)

If that's not enough, you can also head on over to Eftalia Island for even more bars and restaurants to tickle your taste buds (extra charges apply).

Sports & Entertainment

• Waterpark for all ages* - this place has slides for tots, teens and obviously adults (we know that's what you're really bothered about)

• Main pool - if slides aren't your thing, this plain-and-simple pool is located at the other side of the complex - away from all that drama

• Kids' pool - a smaller pool just for the tots, located right beside the main pool

• Mini club (4-12 years) - so you'll never have to hear the words 'I'm bored' during your trip. not even once. Oh, and there's a playground.

• Sports fit for every mood - from football and tennis to basketball, darts and water aerobics

• Evening entertainment - whether it's live music, bingo or a professional show, this place has always got something going on after sunset

• 24-hour TV room - we don't advise sitting indoors watching TV for 24 hours, but if you wanted to...you deffo could

• Spa centre - decked out with all the pamper essentials, including a sauna, steam bath, Turkish bath and massage menu. Count us in.
