Vikingen Infinity Resort
Overview
Five stars don't get much better than this. A la carte restaurants, an aqua park, too many swimming pools to count, and the cherry on top? A mahoosive private beach. Ultra All Inclusive that'll have you filled up and watered all day, with water or alcohol. Naughty stuff, or healthy stuff. Whatever you want. You do you. 90% of rooms have a sea view, make yourself a cuppa and sit on the balcony every morning. Even post a pic and caption it with a motivational speech about travelling, or a couple of cheeky hashtags? Safe to say the kiddos are spoilt, with a dedicated aquapark, swimming pools and a kids' club with a mini cinema, mini disco and entertainment shows
Location
On its own private bit of beach with a pier when you fancy skipping the sandy toe part and want to dive right in
Around a 1-hour 26-minute drive from Antalya Airport - might look like a long way, but it'll go by in a flash
Speedy 4-minute drive to Sealanya Dolphinpark - pretty much a waterpark and aquarium in one place. Sign us up.
Rooms
These rooms really are a treat for the eyes, with light-up swirls on the wall, a classy marble bathroom, and a pic of Marilyn Monroe reading a book? Not a sentence we'd thought we'd have to write. Just shows how unique they are though.
Standard Rooms, Family Rooms and Suites
FYI Comfort Rooms are the same as Standard Rooms, but come with a whole lotta benefits, like a FREE bottle of wine, fruit basket, FREE a la carte reservation and late check-out until 15:00. No brainer if you ask us.
Each room has...
Rooms cold as ice with the air con (perhaps being a bit dramatic, but it'll keep you nice and cool)
An en-suite bathroom with bathtub AND shower. We love options.
Satellite TV, we don't think Corrie will be on there, but you can always ask
WiFi is here, but it'll cost you
A safe is also extra, but it'll keep all your valuables locked away
Hairdryer so you don't have to squeeze yours into your case
Minibar filled with soft drinks for day one, then refilled with water every day
90% of the rooms also offer unreal sea views. Seasational.
For families and larger groups, there’s also a choice of super-handy connecting rooms sleeping up to four guests
Food & Drink
An elite Ultra All Inclusive programme, starting with a top-notch breakfast, lunch and dinner at the main restaurant. All buffet-style so if you don't know what you're fancying, grab a bit of everything. There's a lotta choice!
Mini late breakfast so you can have a lie-in and still have enough time for a spot of brekkie
Both local and international dishes are on offer and indoor and outdoor seating options whether you want to tuck in, in the air-conditioned room, or start topping up your tan early
There’s also a dedicated children’s buffet (not just chicken nuggets and chips, don't worry) and special diets are happily catered for
The hotel also features two a la carte restaurants, which can be enjoyed once per stay, they are unreal though, so you need to book a table ahead
The beach bar is on hand with a range of delicious drinks and snacks
Snack buffet and patisserie near the pools, and free ice creams at certain times of the day
For drinks, a choice of local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are served at selected bars from 08:00-24:00, along with some imported brands
If you're still hungry after all that (no judgment here), there's Midnight Soup which is a hearty way to finish the day
The free ice cream and a la carte restaurant services begin on 1st May each year and serving times are subject to change across all venues. Fresh fruit juices, Turkish coffees and room service are also an extra charge.
Sports & Entertainment
Main pool, jacuzzi pool, three pools for the kids, and heated indoor pools. A lot of pools going on, and we ain't mad about it.
A spectacular aqua park, which features seven thrilling slides sure to get those pulses pounding
A splash park with interactive features and pint-sized slides for the kiddos to have a splashtastic time
Also for the little uns' (they really are spoilt here), they've got a jam-packed, all-singing, all-dancing kids' club with a mini disco, a colourful playground, a mini-cinema and a mini disco by the beach
Daytime activities and evening shows, all day, every day. From aerobics, pilates, pool games and darts, to live music and dance shows
Sports facilities for when you're itching to get off the sunbed, which includes beach volleyball, tennis (extra charge), table tennis, darts and a gym
Watersports to take advantage of (extra charge). Who doesn't want to be whipping around on a jet-ski? It's giving James Bond vibes.
Spa, which offers a Turkish bath, sauna and steam room absolutely FREE (we love free), and massages and Jacuzzi access for a bit extra, but is it worth it? Hell yeah.
