We stayed here as we were on a budget, this hotel exceeded our expectations.
Pros:
-Staff were very attentive and friendly
-Checking in and out was very easy
-Within short walking distance to various amenities and tourist attractions
-Subway station right outside
-Room was incredibly clean and appeared very tidy and visually appealing
-Daily housekeeping visits with bedsheets and towels changed
-Great bar in reception area
-comfortable bed
-great sized TV
-thermostat in room
-very nice bathroom with large shower
-room was a good size
-Safe provided in room
-gym
-good lighting
-nice view out the window
-very good price for all of the above

cons:
-just a small one, the provided toilet paper is a little on the thin side

Amazing hotel!

This hotel was everything we needed.  The rooms are updated.  It was so convenient to so many things and a direct subway ride to places that were farther away.  The staff was great! We arrived early one morning and they held our luggage while we ventured out for the day.  Walking distance to so many items of interest.

Perfect stay

The staff is friendly and helpful and the check-in process was quick and hassle free. The room (including the bathroom) was very clean and tidy. If you’re looking for a hotel near the financial district or downtown NYC area, this hotel is great.

Lovely Hotel

We went to New York to attend our brothers funeral, and stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. While it was clean and trendy our experience of staying here only added to the trauma. Whilst out attending my brothers funeral, we arrived back at the hotel to find someone had attempted to break into my other brothers suitcase. We advised reception who sent a handyman to help break open the lock as whoever tried to break in, had jammed something into the lock and the keys no longer worked. The hotel manager said he would investigate, and also apply some compensation.....this did not happen. An initial deposit of £400 (£200 per room) was taken off my brothers card, 13 days later (as we checked out on 23rd September) the money has not been returned to my brothers card! Numerous calls later to the head office in Windsor, the deposit has still not been returned.  To say this has been stressful would be an understatement, you do not expect to experience this level of service from this hotel group. I could have paid less to stay at the Hilton hotel in London, and I am positive would have received a much better service. Would I recommend anyone staying here NO, due to the fact that if something goes wrong, they are inept at putting it right.
