Holidays from Norwich
If you fancy swapping the Norfolk broads for something a bit more exotic, Norwich Airport is your way to do it. Tucked away near the city centre, this place is your ticket to sizzling beaches, sunny landscapes and overseas adventures that you'll be bragging about for months. With direct routes to some of Europe's most popular spots (like Corfu, Malta and trust Tenerife), you're just a speedy flight away from swapping your cuppa for an ice-cold Fanta Lemon by the pool.
Getting to Norwich Airport
The airport's located just 4 miles north of Norwich city centre, and it's super easy to get to by car via the A1402. If you're driving yourself, then don't forget to take advantage of our pre-bookable airport car parking. We'll get you fixed up at a cracking price so you don't have to worry about a thing. If you're hopping on the train, then Norwich Railway Station is closest to the airport, located smack dab in the centre. You can grab a taxi or uber from the train station to the airport, which usually takes about 20 minutes depending on traffic. Both Abellio Greater Anglia and East Midlands Trains offer connections to Norwich throughout East Anglia.
Airport facilities
When it comes to kicking off your jollies in style, you'll find everything you need (and more) at Norwich Airport...
Shopping essentials - Duty Free's got you covered with everything from accessories and make-up to gorg fragrances, including Creed and Jo Malone. There's also a trusty WHSmith (of course), perfect for grabbing a last-minute holiday read, a travel pillow or a cheeky bag of Lays for the flight. We see you.
Food and drink - we all know airport food can be a bit hit or miss, but this place has some solid options to beat the hunger. Café Oasis is just the spot for a quick bite or caffeine fix, with a delish selection of sarnies, pastries and hot drinks that'll keep you fuelled up for the flight. For something more substantial, there's Yard of Ale, a cosy venue for a classic pre-flight beer (which you know we're a fan of by now), and some good ol' pub grub.
Airport lounges - to really get the vacay party started, it's gotta be in an airport lounge. Keep your eyes peeled, too, because we've been known to offer these out for free from time to time... Either way, the lounges at Norwich are as comfy as they come, with loads of snacks, free-flowing drinks, and FREE Wi-Fi so you can brag about the whole thing on social media. Winner.
Currency exchange - need to exchange some cash in the local currency before you go? Norwich Airport has you covered with its currency exchange services, whether you need euros, dollars or something more exotic. No need to worry about finding an exchange abroad, you can simply rock up, exchange your cash, and you're good to go. That's one less thing to worry about on your trip!
Cash machines - it might sound boring, but there are plenty of cash machines dotted about the airport, and those are always handy. Whether you've got some last-minute things to buy or you just want a bit of extra cash on hand, this is the perfect way to top up your funds before you fly and make sure you've got everything you need for your jollies.
Why fly from Norwich?
Well, let's start with the obvious one. If you're local, then it's right on your doorstep, meaning you can swerve the mahoosive crowds that come with those bigger, further-from-reach airports. There's no need to trek to the big cities - whether you're local to Norwich or just stopping by, getting to the airport is an absolute breeze.
