This hotel will not accept group reservations of more than two rooms under the same name, even if the reservations have different reference numbers. For family bookings, guests must book two rooms and then book third and fourth rooms separately under a different lead name. The hotel will cancel any reservations of more than two rooms with the same name.

Location

• Hop in a taxi for a speedy 7-minute drive to Playa del Albir

• A 40-minute drive from Alicante Airport - look on the bright side, the road is near the coast, so at least you've got beachy views to pass the time

Rooms

• Themed bungalow cabins and cottages, based around...you guessed it. The Robin Hood characters. There's Sherwood, Robin Hood, Little John, Sheriff, King Richard the Lionheart and Nottingham

• If you wanna go all out Premium cabins have your name written all over it. VIP amenities, two bedrooms with one being a bunkbed, and some have a Jacuzzi for them spa vibes.

Food & Drink

• The Golden Arrow - munch on all kinds of stuff, you've got a huge selection of international and Spanish classics, and better yet it's all buffet-style

• The Long Bow Terrace - a second buffet-style restaurant, because what's the fun in having just one, more options, more meals. Winner, winner.

• Arroceria - Medieval-style restaurant inspired by the Robin Hood story (duh) with hearty grub

• Friar Tuck's Inn - a steakhouse that's worth talking about, even the smell will have your mouth drooling and if it doesn't, the live cooking stations definitely will

• Robin Forest Cafe - bet you didn't think you'd be tucking into your burger with Robin Hood himself (a statue, but same thing) pointing an arrow at you. Here you'll feel like you are part of the action

• Italian Long Bow - copious amounts of pizza and pasta, sounds heavenly. Didn't think you'd be getting transported to Italy, did ya?

• Medieval Challenge - did someone say dinner and a show? A two-in-one experience that is not to be missed

• Lionheart Magic Restaurant - exclusive for Premium cabin guests, if that alone doesn't make you want to upgrade, we don't know what will.

• Little John Pool Bar - get yourself a beveragino all day, every day. Chillin' by the pool is thirsty work...

• The Dragon's Cave Pool Bar - in the heart of the main pool action, the drinks are flowing, cocktails are being shaken up, and the snacks are launching out of the kitchen. No Dragon's sighted (yet).

• Lady Marian Theatre - in the entertainment bit. So we say, grab your'sen a drink and get ready for the show

• The Crusades Chill Out Bar - sorry kiddos, this spot is for the grown-ups only. They deserve a bit of peace and quiet, with a cocktail in hand (obvs)

• And the icing on the cake, there's also Food Trucks and Ice Cream vans, as if you didn't need any more food. But we're sure you won't be complaining.

All Inclusive

• Visits to the other Magic properties via a free shuttle service (from 01/05 - 31/10), the hours of the visit will be from 11:00 - 17:00 or 17:00 - 00:00 to catch the evening shows

  • For 8 nights or more, you get 3 visits

Sports & Entertainment

• Large Outdoor Pool Complex - yeah, a complex of pools (aka. loads). including a lagoon-style pool that's begging to be dunked into, and you don't even need to leave it to get yourself a cocktail. Did someone say swim-up bar?

• Dragon's Race Lagoon - a pretty impressive waterpark. decked out with 6 slides from tame family slides, to ones that'll make your stomach drop. Of course, there's a separate bit for the kiddos, can't forget about you lot!

• Mini Club - so many activities and entertainment that the kids will be shattered, it's hard work running around a playground and playing games all-day

• Activities - you want activities, they'll give you activities. *deep breathe* A multi-adventure park, mini-golf, a skatepark, football pitch, teqball tables (table tennis and footie combined), tennis courts and an ice-skating rink. We feel knackered just thinking about it.

• Game Experience -aka. heaven for the teens, there are F1 Ferrari simulators, Nintendo consoles, Xbox, Playstation, arcade games and giant screens. All the high-tech gadgets, you'll find right here.

• Spa - after all the ice-skating, mini-golfing, swimming and sliding, you'll want a bit of chill time. Melt away in the bubbly jacuzzi and sauna, or pamper yourself with a menu of massages and beauty treatments.

• Guests can make use of the neighbouring Club la Marina (extra charge may apply). Facilities include tennis courts, swimming pools and football pitches.

• Events:

  • From October to November there's Halloween entertainment, themed accommodation and fancy dress competitions

  • From December 5th to 10th and December 22nd to January 7th it's the Magic Christmas event with a Christmas market and an ice-skating rink

  • From April to May, it is Magic Play Fest, with four weeks of activities, contests and video games
