For us, picking a favourite hotel is like picking a favourite child. We know, we know, we can't possibly choose either. We love them all equally, despite their differences. One might make a great cup of tea, and the other might bring you a whole breakfast platter in bed, top up your drinks all day, allow you to read a book in the sunshine and then end the evening with a live rendition of the Copa Cabana so you know you've really got your money's worth for those keyboard lessons they did in Primary. These hotels, these are the second child. So, yeah, we suppose we all have favourites.

The good thing about an all-inclusive is you've got all bases covered. You can be lounging in the sunshine, drinking unlimited cocktails, whilst your other half is practising their dive-bombing skills in the pool (sigh) or perfecting their swing on the mini golf course (big sigh). But, at the end of the day, you can enjoy a romantic meal and a stroll on the beach together, and flick through all the holiday photos you got... of them dive-bombing into the pool (biggest sigh). Holidays to Tenerife never sounded so good...
